The Flemish Evaluation Platform is framed within the Flemish Association for Public Administration and Policy (VVBB).

The Flemish Association for Public Administration and Policy (VVBB), founded as not-for-profit organisation in 1988 in Brussels, has as its central objective to promote administrative science in Belgium. The VVBB is a meeting point where, from science and practice, exchange of ideas and common inquiry can be made, toward a better management practice and joint problem solution development within the field of public administration.
Both specificity and added value reside in its profile; it provides a unique, free and independent forum for exchange between Dutch-speaking civil servants, politicians of all governmental layers and scientists from various research institutions. The composition of the Management Board, chaired by prof. dr. Geert Bouckaert, reflects this open profile of the VVBB.

The active and supportive role of the VVBB as privileged partner in the launch and working of the Flemish Evaluation Platform is fully in line with its objectives.
